About Me
Brooke Williams, MA TESOL, is an English language educator and a native of Philadelphia. After attending New York University and Temple University, she obtained an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She received her MA TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Southern California. While Brooke has over 20 years professional experience in the education and social services fields, she has specifically taught English as a Second Language for the last seven years. Some of the institutions where she has taught previously include Community College of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Harcum College, Chestnut Hill College, Temple University and St. Joseph’s University. Brooke has honed her educational leadership skills as the Assistant Director of Early Childhood Programs at Settlement Music School and the Director of Extended Day Programs at Plymouth Meeting Friends School. In these previous roles, she was able to demonstrate her passion for student integrated learning while cultivating her strengths in professional development, team building, coaching, program and curriculum design, and operations management. She has also provided private tutoring and instruction for numerous students from various countries. She recently returned from living and teaching abroad for a year in Bilbao, a city located in the Basque Country of northern Spain. In addition to being an English language instructor, Brooke is also a freelance professional vocalist who continues to perform in the Greater Philadelphia Area and beyond.
